What are stretch marks?

A Stretch mark is a type of scar which develops due to stretching of skin or shrinking. It is hard to avoid stretch marks. They usually show up on your stomach, breasts, hips, butt, and thighs and are also called STRIA. They happen as a result of quick growth in your body, for example, Weight gain, pregnancy, breasts implant surgery, or bodybuilding. Other causes can be Marfan Syndrome(a genetic disease that causes weak skin fibers and leads to unusual growth), and Cushing's Syndrome. Symptoms:

Stretch marks don't look alike. They appear as indented lines on your abdomen, buttocks, hips, breasts, and other body parts.
